Property management companies provide myriad services to their clients, including negotiating rental ag complaint-letter-to-apartment-manager-rid-0.html. moncler jacket mensreements, maintaining a rental property and coordinating repairs, collecting rent payments and complying with local, state and federal laws. Such companies can be a godsend, especially for property owners who own properties a state other than where they live. If you no longer require the services of your property management company, you need to write a letter expressing your desire to terminate the contract. Write a professional and polite letter and keep your options open; you never know when you or someone you know might need the services of the company.

Read the terms of the contract with your property management company carefully. The terms should clearly specify how much advance notice the company requires and to whom you should address a termination letter. Call the company for clarification if any of the instructions are unclear.

Use your personal stationery or create your own by centering your name at the top of the page and then putting your contact information underneath. Select a professional font, such as Arial, Tahoma, Verdana or Times New. Use a larger font size -- say, 16- or 18-point -- for your name and a smaller font size -- 14- or 16-point -- for your contact information. Use an 11- or 12-point font for the body of your letter.

Open your letter with a formal salutation, using the full name of the company president, managing partner or other intended recipient. Address her by her last name and courtesy title, such as “Dear Ms. Baker.”

Begin your letter with a clear and concise statement of your purpose in writing. For example, you might say, “I am writing to notify you of my desire to terminate the property management contract that pertains to my townhouse at (full address, city and state).”

Make it clear that you are abiding by the terms of your contract. You might say, “The terms of the contract require that I provide you with 30 days’ notice of my intention to terminate the contract. As today’s date is October 1, the contract shall be null and void as of October 31.”

Include a brief explanation about why you are terminating the contract, if you wish. This is purely optional, but it may head off an inquiring phone call from the property management company. For example, you might say, “Though I have been very satisfied with your services, a close family member is moving to the area and has volunteered to oversee the property on my behalf.”

Add a special thank you for the company’s services, if you are so inclined. Mention the company’s response to a specific event or episode that impressed you. Say that you will keep the company in mind for your future needs or those of family, friends and co-workers. In business, it never pays to burn bridges.

Thank the recipient for her time and “prompt attention to this matter.” End your letter with a formal closing, such as “Sincerely.” Space four times and then type your full name. Sign your full name above your typed name.

Proofread and edit your letter carefully. Ensure that it is free of spelling and grammatical errors.

Send your letter by certified mail. A receipt will provide proof that the letter was delivered.

Dear ___________,

I am writing to inform you that your attention to maintenance at my apartment complex, Anyplace Manor, has been unsatisfactory. If you cannot maintain a safe, clean, and hospitable environment for living, I will have to ask you to release me from my lease before this becomes a legal matter.

There are many problems with the apartment complex, including the cleanliness of the stairs, the broken windows on the first floor, and the mold growing in the laundry room. These problems are not only aesthetically displeasing, they also may cause health and safety problems for residents.

Within my own apartment, you have neglected to replace the broken showerhead, fix the leaking ceiling, or repair the large cracks in the wall. These problems are major issues for me, as I have had to clean up water in my apartment whenever it rains.

I have notified management several times about these issues, most recently two weeks ago on December 1st. As a tenant, I have a right to a safe and well-maintained living unit. If you cannot resolve these issues in the next month, I ask to be released early from my 12-month lease so I can seek out a better living situation. Please feel free to call me with any questions at 555-555-5555. I hope we can reach a reasonable agreement.

Sample Answer

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the facilities provided by your sports center located at the MG Road. It has been two years since I and my husband joined this center. We both attend the aerobics classes in the morning and do swimming in the evening.

I want to bring into your notice that the changing rooms in the pool section are not being maintained properly. Firstly, the towels are soiled and even damp sometimes. Secondly, there is a foul smell in the rooms most of the time. It seems as if the area is not cleaned thoroughly and no room freshener is used. We talked with the facilitator before writing to you but the issue was ignored rather than being resolved. Such a response has disappointed us as it is a basic hygiene issue which should have been taken care of immediately after the first complaint. I would like you to ensure that clean towels are supplied after every swimming session and rooms are cleaned regularly. If the problem of foul smell can also be tackled by installing ventilators, we would be grateful to you.

I look forward to receiving a prompt response.

Yours faithfully Anju Rawat

IELTS General Writing Letter. You should spend 20 minutes on this task.

You and your family have just rented an apartment and one or two problems occurred. Write a letter to the landlord. – Describe the problems. – Tell him what you want him to do.

Sample Answer:

Dear Mr. Gaur,

Hope you are doing great. We have just shifted to your apartment at Raj Nagar this week and discovered a few inconveniences which I would like to bring to your notice.

The first issue is that the sink in the kitchen is dripping. Every time we use the sink, it gets clogged and water starts dripping. It is quite stinky as well. It looks like a drainage system obstruction. The second concern is that the flush of the bathroom attached with the kids’ room is out of order. It could either be due to a damaged pipe or hindrance in the flow of water in the tank.

Both these problems are causing a lot of inconvenience for my family and need your immediate attention. I request you to look into this matter and take the appropriate action at the earliest possible.

I look forward to receiving a prompt response.

Yours sincerely Kritika Gupta

Complaint Letters IELTS Letter IELTS preparation IELTS Writing Complaint From Neighbors # Letter For IELTS June 19, 2017 Chief Editor Leave a comment

You should spend 20 minutes on this task.

You have recently received a complaint from neighbors about the noise from your flat.

Write a letter to your neighbors to apologize for the inconvenience and also explain the reason for noise. Describe what action you will take.

Write at least 150 words.

Dear Arushi,

Hope you are doing great. I am surprised to hear from you that you are immensely annoyed by the sound coming from my flat.

I thought that the noise will not reach your flat, but I now realize that it has irritated you and I apologize for the problem. Recently, a tap got burst somewhere inside the wall of my house and it has caused dampness in my cupboards, leading to a pungent smell in the house. Not only this, the clothes in the cupboard have got fungus stuck in them.

The authorities have already  been contacted and they have fixed the pipe but it was requested that I keep the windows of the house open for at least five days. Although I tried my best efforts to cause you no inconvenience, but it has been caused. However, I promise there won’t be any noise from today.

Once again, I’m extremely sorry for any inconvenience that I might have caused you.

Yours sincerely,

Complaint Letters IELTS Letter General Training Writing task 1: Complaint Letter Noisy Restaurant May 28, 2017 IELTS Research Leave a comment

IELTS Writing Task 1: Complaint Letter

You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.

A restaurant near your home is making a lot of noise. You called the manager but no action was taken.

Write a letter to the manager. In your letter

introduce yourself describe the problems you are facing because of this suggest solutions

Write at least 150 words.

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir/Madam,

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am a resident at the MG Road, and the president of the residential association for the people living in and around the MG Road. My house is right next to your restaurant.

I am writing to bring it into your notice that we hear a lot of noise coming out from your restaurant. Loud music being played in the pub and people getting rowdy and creating ruckus after drinking is a common site these days at your restaurant. And it gets really loud, when it’s expected to be quieter.

To be honest, I am a bit disappointed. Before writing to you, twice I had a word with the manager of your restaurant. He told me that he will look into it for me but nothing happened. He turned a deaf ear, and I feel that was a bit rude of him to do so.

I would like to request you here to curb the sound post 2300 hours and maybe install sound proof glasses wherever necessary. As you know it’s against the law to play loud music between 22:00 and 07:00.

As well, would really appreciate if you could ask your clients to keep their voices to themselves, as they tend to get too loud after downing few pints and hire a few bouncers to keep the brawlers at bay. If everyone liked the same sounds, noise would not be a problem. What’s music to your ears, your neighbors might dislike.

Looking forward to a positive response and a speedy resolution of my concern. Thanking you, in anticipation.

Warm Regards

Dalpreet Kaur
